Roger J. Sciascia, CPA

Roger Sciascia joined Whittlesey in 2015. With more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, he has grown his career to include management positions in Big Four and regional accounting firms. Roger’s practice concentration is in tax planning issues, executive compensation negotiations, stockholder agreements, mergers and acquisitions, asset protection planning, strategic planning, and multi-state tax issues, as well as federal and state tax situations. He serves industries throughout New England and New York, including manufacturing and distribution, medical and legal practices, construction, and real estate. Roger is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with both the State of Connecticut and State of New York.

A graduate of Quinnipiac University, Roger is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA). With a strong commitment to serving the accounting industry, Roger has served Allinial Global, (formerly PKF North America) as a member of the Tax Strategies Task Force, as well as Chair and Vice Chair of the Tax Committee. Most recently he was recognized for completing four years of service as a member of the organization's Board of Directors. He continues his support of Allinial Global by serving the Membership Committee.

Roger's dedication to serving his community also remains steadfast, having served the American Red Cross, South Central Connecticut Chapter, as well as the Special Olympics and Sacred Heart Academy, all in various advisory positions. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and has been a member of their Trusted Advisors Group. Roger currently sits on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Finance Committee for the United Way of Greater New Haven.
