Stephen A. Toross, CPA

Stephen joined the firm as a tax partner in 2011. He currently serves as a Consultant. He has a practice concentration in real estate, construction, and manufacturing and distribution, with expertise across all facets of federal income tax laws and regulations surrounding corporations, partnerships, and high net worth individuals. Additionally, Stephen advises clients on tax related matters surrounding formation, operation, and dissolution of partnerships and corporations, on tax efficient loan workouts and restructuring, on property foreclosures and on short sales, as well as like-kind exchanges, tax credits, and incentives.

Stephen is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with the State of Connecticut, a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also a member of the Metro Hartford Alliance, member and past president of the Hartford Tax Club, and member of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford. Stephen is a frequent lecturer on tax-related topics with both the CTCPA and AICPA.

He holds a Master of Science degree in taxation and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from the University of Hartford.
