Whittlesey Names New Directors 

HARTFORD, Connecticut – January 15, 2019 Whittlesey has announced the promotion of two senior managers to the position of Director. Edward Engberg, CPA and Thomas Goldfuss, CPA are the newest Directors to the firm’s growing leadership team, effective January 1, 2019.

Edward Engberg is based in the firm’s Hartford office. Ed joined the firm in 2006 and has over 12 years of service with a concentration in assurance and advisory services for nonprofit organizations, real estate, and manufacturing clients. Alongside his work, he is the Treasurer of CREW CT – The Real Estate Exchange, Treasurer of the Connecticut Housing Coalition and member of its Emerging Leaders Group. Ed earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Finance from Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT. In addition, he is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Thomas Goldfuss is also based in the firm’s Hartford office. Tom has over 11 years of service with the firm and specializes in assurance and advisory services to nonprofit organizations, credit unions, medical, and real estate clients. Outside of work, Tom is the President for Southington Knights Travel Football and Cheerleading. Tom earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University and his Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Hartford. He is also a member of the AICPA and CTCPA.
