Katherine Donovan Named One of Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty

Whittlesey’s assurance manager Katherine Donovan, CPA, was named one of the Hartford Business Journal’s 2022 40 Under Forty.

Ms. Donovan has over ten years of service with the Firm, with a concentration in assurance and advisory services for nonprofit organizations, closely-held businesses, and employee benefit plans. She leads the new hire audit training, was named one of Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA) first-ever “Women to Watch,” and is an active board member with CTCPA and Connecticut Humanities. 

Ms. Donovan earned her Master of Accounting and Taxation from the University of Hartford and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut.

Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty annually recognizes 40 outstanding young professionals in the Greater Hartford area excelling in their industries through their leadership roles. This year’s recipients were selected from more than 130 nominations from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. The winners will be honored at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford on Thursday, Sept. 22.
