Community Involvement

Whittlesey has a rich history of giving back to our local communities, both as individuals and as a firm. We encourage our staff, at all levels, to become actively involved with the nonprofit organizations where we live and work. Our partners and managers serve in leadership positions, volunteering their time and sharing their talents with organizations throughout the region. As part of our commitment to our local communities, we founded the Whittlesey Fund, a charitable fund managed through the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. And through the generosity of our employees, Whittlesey is proud to annually support the United Way and the Greater Hartford Arts Council.

In addition to personal work, we also organize an annual Community Day for our company. It's one of Whittlesey’s most exciting days of the year, when we close our offices and our team participates in hands-on volunteer service at several nonprofits.
