Chris Wisneski

Chris Wisneski is an IT Security and Assurance Services Manager in our Hartford, Connecticut office. He joined the firm in 2018 and brings more than 25 years of information technology experience, specializing in cybersecurity, IT audit, and information security. Chris has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, including CMMC, DFARS/ITAR, HIPAA, PCI, FERPA, GLBA, FFIEC, Sarbanes-Oxley, and GDPR. He serves clients across the nonprofit, education, state agency, banking, manufacturing, and financial institution sectors.

Chris specializes in cybersecurity incident response, data breach investigations, artificial intelligence (AI) governance, risk management, and responsible AI adoption. He leads a team providing incident response, digital forensics, and eDiscovery, AI advisory services, IT governance, security awareness training, penetration testing, vulnerability management, cybersecurity assessments, and Written Information Security Programs (WISPs).

Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Gordon College and continues his professional education in information technology and cybersecurity. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP) through CyberAB.

Chris is an active member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Hartford Chapter, and the Security Communication Access Network (SCAN-Hartford). He is also a member of the FBI InfraGard and the TINYg Global Terrorism Information Network. In addition to his cybersecurity career, Chris holds extensive firefighter certifications through the State of Connecticut and Pro Board and serves as a Lead Instructor at the Hartford County Regional Fire School.
