Lisa Wills is a Partner in our Hartford, Connecticut office with more than 35 years of experience in public accounting at national and regional firms, a majority of which was spent at a Big 4 firm, where she served as a partner. She has a practice specialization in serving nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and government entities, and is widely recognized for her expertise in complex audits. Lisa leads the firm’s nonprofit niche and has extensive experience presenting audit results to Boards of Directors. She is also a frequent presenter at nonprofit conferences on accounting, industry, and governance topics and is a published author on nonprofit financial reporting.

Lisa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration from Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA). Lisa serves as Co-Chair of Women of Whittlesey and has held numerous leadership and governance roles, including current service as a member of the Board of Trustees and Audit Committee of Elms College. Her past service includes Chair of the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees member for Mercy High in Middletown, Connecticut, and past Chair and member of the CTCPA Nonprofit Committee.

Lisa has been recognized with Hartford Business Journal’s Top 25 Women in Business (2023), Hartford Business Journal’s Women in Business Honoree (2023), the CTCPA Women Distinguished Service Award (2023), and the CTCPA Women Distinguished Service Award (2022).
