Michael J. Pyne, CPA

Michael Pyne is a Partner in our Hamden, Connecticut office with more than 35 years of experience in public accounting. Michael has a practice specialization in providing income tax, estate tax, gift tax, and financial consulting services to closely held companies and their owners. He also serves clients in the professional services, construction, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Prior to joining Whittlesey in 2015, Michael served as a tax partner with Weinstein & Anastasio, P.C., a firm based in Hamden, Connecticut.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA). Michael is a frequent speaker on tax-related topics and regularly presents on income and estate tax issues to civic and professional organizations across a range of industries, including healthcare, financial institutions, construction, and nonprofit organizations.
